The Representatives began in 2012 as the formalization of the years-long collaboration between playwright Stan Richardson and actor Matt Steiner.

We make plays and are dedicated to producing them as soon as they are written. We’re interested in facilitating an experience that begins with a play and continues with a broader conversation that encourages cultural and political awareness, information-sharing and action.
